It's hard to believe!

It has been a while since I started workign on a stroy for the Hamiton Spectator over the health issue of Canadian immigrants.
During several interviews and online researches, we came up to an ugly side of the reality in which how new comers to Canada are dealing with their initial health needs.

I first was inspired by a fresh study released by Canadian researchers saying how over the passage of time, immigrants lose their health and become involved with mental and physical deseases.

In the city of Hamilton as one of the immigrant destinations, the family doctors shortage is being a severe issue for immigrants and refugees. Most comunity health centres of the city are challenging with financial problems that causes long long waiting lists.

Only in North Hamilton Helath Cantre, there are 200 people all immigrants on the waitng lists.

When it comes to the type of health problems,you see how mental issue becomes a seriouce among immigrants. Most experts claim that mental problem is number one for the immigrants community; Stress, depression, and anxiety. That's all!

The tough proccess of settlement in the new country crashes the state of their health just like that.

Every one is looking for job to servive. Skilled wokers with professional background come here hopeful, but as soon as they figure out no one is aproving their profisioncy, they end up to do low-level jobs. This is where most problems pops up.
Mostly with mental health issues.

Iranian popies immigrant to Canada

There are four of them leaving freely in toronto; all family members. two kids with their parents!

Can you imagine?

when I first met their Iranian owner I was amazed. I questioned her about how difficult it was to leave Iranian borders with four dogs to Canada, she just caught a deep breath. "It was like a night mare!"

I already knew about the Iranian new restrictions that had made every thing horible for the pet keepers in Iran. Even dogs are being discriminated!

Carrying dogs in car has been officially forbidden by the new states rules. What is the penalty for the offenders? At least a month of the vehicle suspention plus additional fees and fines!

Once when the Iranian police forces relized that you have a puppy on the board even your drivering licence will be suspended for at least a month.

So that seemed unbelievable to me to see an Iranian immigrant family came to Canada along with four cute dogs. Here they are enjoying theri pease.

Canada Job market!

I was just talking to a friend of mine, dicussing how immigrants have hardships finding job in their new country.
Although she is a white Canadian born person, she pointed out a truth here.
Saying that this is the way how Canada rlies on immigrant labour forces!
this is reality of Canadian life though.
People come here with a high profesional backgorund and well educated record, but
majority of them can not find their own carreer.Why? because as an immigrant you need to have the Canadina experience and upgrated skilles.
To be survived in this country in the very early years of your arrival, you
have to put on iron shoes, be pation and be ready to start from zero degree.
So there is no wonder why Canada is a very progresive country in the world!
most its labour forces are well educated and skilled workers.
but tell you something: if you are planning to move to this land, start working on your language skills, and be concern about studying in college or university.
Its worthy to spend time and money to upgrade yourself, then you will be integrated faster.
You won't be a part of the labour force with the low wages for ever, will you?

گزارشی از سنگسار در یک روزنامه معتبر کانادایی

آخر کار روزنامه نگاری

باز هم این دوستان مطبوعاتی ما تو ایران دست گل به آب دادن. اصلا انگار نه انگار که این جماعت اسمشون روزنامه نگاره و یه

مسولیت هایی قراره داشته باشن. حتی دیگه برای کار کردن یه خبر به خودشون زخمت نمی دن در مورد صحت آن اقلا یه نگاهی به منابع اینترنتی بکنند

روزنامه اعتماد ملی چند روز پیش یه خبر کا ر کرده بود با این عنوان که کانادا یک دزد حرفه ای ماشین را از این کشور اخراج کرده

و او را به ایرا ن فرستاده است. بعدش هم سایت حادثه عینا همون خبر را روی صفحه گذاشته است

در حالی که اگه این دوستان به خودشون یه زحمت کوچولو می دادن و تو اینترنت جستجومی کردن فقط با صرف چند دقیقه وقت چنین اشتباه فاحشی را در مورد یک جوان ایرانی که مبتلا به بیماری روحی اسکیزوفرنیا یعنی مشکل چندگانگی شخصیت است نمی شدند. داستان زندگی بهنود سعادت خانی که به نا روا از کانادا اخراج شد، همین الان هم تو چند سایت و وبلاگ هست. روزنامه ها و رادیو و تلویزیون کانادا هم راجع بهش کلی حرف زدند . اونوقت روزنامه فخیمه اعتماد ملی چنین عنوانی را بدون تحقیق و مطالعه به این بنده خدا می دهد

اختلاط فرهنگ ها

امشب که از کالج بر می گشتیم به اتفاق یکی از هم کلاسی های خوب افغانمان ، آقای کریم پارکر که از نویسندگان و روزنامه نگاران

مقیم تورنتو هستند کلی راجع به زندگی افغان های مهاجر تو کشوری مثل کانادا حرف زدیم. جالبه که به زعم ایشون هم هنوز خیلی از خانواده های افغان با همون فرهنگ و اعتقادات سنتی خودشون زندگی می کنند. هر چند که بعضی از آنها هم با فرهنگ جامعه جدید خودشون را تطابق دادند و خوبی آن را گرفتند و بدی آن را گذاشتند

یاد یکی از دوستان جوان افغانم افتادم. پارسال با هم تو کالج هم کلاس بودیم.تقریبا 20 ساله بود. روزها می آمد کالج و شب ها می رفت تو یه پیتزا فروشی سخت کار می کردش. طفلکی سر کلاس اصلا رمق نداشت.این دختر افغان نه ابرو بر می داشت و نه آرایش می کرد و موهای صورتش را اصلاح می کرد. پدرش هم چند سال پیش فوت شده بود و او مسوول بخش اصلی مخارج خونه بود. می گفت مادرش اجازه نمی ده که حتی با جنس مخالفش تلفنی حرف بزند و برود بیرون

می گفت دلش می خواهد که با پسر دلخواهش دوست بشود و بعد با ان کسی که دوست دارد ازدواج کند اما در فرهنگشون این کار محال بود. می گفت البته اینجا بیشتر آزادی دارم تا افغانستان ،اینجا لااقل می تونم بروم درس بخونم و برم کار کنم

خلاصه کلی یاد این دختر کردیم.یادش به خیر
